The Book So Far
It was far too early for any of this. God had lizards. And the lizards were terrifically great. Then he fell asleep, and things got considerably worse for everyone.
It was Tuesdays on Earth that Dave usually felt most dead. His chameleon, Tom Hanks, had other ideas. Specifically: a gossamer tube, a divine errand, and the end of Dave's existence as he knew it.
Olive had 50 million followers and was sitting in her parents' basement in a Balenciaga onesie. A strange email arrived. Then the avocado in her fridge began to glow.
Acts of Dave is a serial comedy novel published chapter by chapter, as God intended — or would have intended, had God not fallen asleep on the job.
It is a story about bureaucracy, belief, lizards, a chameleon called Tom Hanks, and a 21-year-old influencer with 50 million followers and nowhere better to be than a basement.
